In collaboration with Agency for Community Empowerment (HeadStart), Ms. Fern Chromey came to Line St. EI to explore the world of music therapy and meditation with Miss Maura and Miss Renee’s students! Fern brought musical instruments, meditation bowls, and exotic instruments for the children to touch and play. The sessions were hosted in the new outdoor sensory area and kids were able to play the instruments and learn about meditation beats and sounds. Even the adults learned the benefit of music meditation and the calming effects of sounds/tones. We look forward to continuing our connection with Fern and ACE to bring more of these opportunities to our students. Thank you Ms. Fern!
