To support all students in this new 3D approach to teaching and learning, NEIU proudly offers our STEELS Academy optimized for elementary educators. This STEELS Academy deliberately aims to assist educators in building capacity and knowledge of the classroom shifts necessary to support PAs STEELS Standards. Participants in this academy will leave with tools and knowledge to support students of all backgrounds to deeply understand science ideas, participate in the activities of the discipline, and solve authentic problems. Lunch each day, a copy of Rise and Thrive with Science book and additional materials and resources will be provided to all participants. NOTE: This is a 5 day academy that meets throughout the school year. Register once to attend all 5 days.
